How To Increase Downloading Speed By Using IDM

How To Speed UP IDM?

The Procedure Divided Into Two Methods

Method No#1 Configuring IDM Settings

• First open IDM and goto Options
• There in connection TAB set LAN 10mbps as the default connection
• Then type/speed in the box and leave away all the other boxes empty.

Method No#2 Editing the Registry

• Goto Run
• Type "regedit" to open the registry editor
• Next in the left panel expand HKEY_CURRENT_USER
• Then expand Software in the below and Highlight DownloadManager
• Now in the Right Panel Look for the registry entry name "MaxConnectionsNumber" and double click on it
• Now click on Decimal and Replace Current value 100. Default value is 8
• An option to increase it is available but might not be enough so increase to 100.
• Done
